Hon'ble Mr. Justice Mahboob Ali, former Judge, Allahabad High Court, Allahabad was appointed in U.P. Judicial Service on 09^th August 1985. He was promoted to Higher Judicial Service on May 05, 2001 and has presided the Courts of Additional District & Sessions Judge in different Districts.  He has also functioned as Spl. Secy.& Adl.L.R.(Leg.&Parli.Aff.), OSD, U.P. State Legal Services Authority and as OSD, Shamli. He has a vast experience of working in Judicial and Administrative domain.  

His Lordship was Director, Judicial Training & Research Institute, U.P. w.e.f. 16.09.2014  to 30.11.2016. Thereafter, His Lordship got elevated as  Judge, Allahabad High Court, Allahabad on 07.07.2017 and served at Allahabad upto 10.11.2018.

 His Lordship is adorning the august office of  Chairman, Judicial Training & Research Institute, U.P. w.e.f. 22.08.2019.
